The Comedienne is one of two super-heroines, both of whom are the offspring of the original Comedian. Due to a time-travel incident shortly after the Five Minutes to Midnight story, the second Comedienne, who was operating in the southwest during the eighties, is, in fact, the direct inspiration for the first Comedienne, who began working in the mid-to-late forties.
